Master Emerald

First Game:Sonic and Knuckles (Genisis)

The Master Emerald is the emerald controler. It has the power to cancel the energy of the Chaos Emeralds.

The Master Emerald has always been fiercy guarded. In the past it was guarded by Chaos. Now the Master Emerald is guarded by Knuckles. At time the Master Emerald seems to have a mind of its own.

The Master Emerald usually uses its power to keep the Floating Island (called Angel Island in Sonic Adventure) afloat in the sky. Whenever the emerald is removed or shattered Floating Island drops from the sky and into the ocean (Its done this twice now)

The Master Emerald is green and it is huge, about as tall as Sonic or Knuckles when standing on its point.
