First Game: Sonic Adventure (SEGA Dreamcast)

Chao are virtual pets created by Sonic Team. They age from Egg to Infant to Child to Adult to Death. They react to the players feedback and how they are treated. They eat fruits and evolve at one point in their lives. When they evolve they can aquire a large variety of looks. Chao are breed for racing, depending on the four stats of Swimming, Flying, Running, and Strength.
