You MUST be a member on the BGS Forum to be considered. You may apply for more then one position. All BGS work is non-profit and voluntary. There is no payment of any kind to the BGS or BGS Staff. Staff members are volunteers and are not paid in any form. Staff does however get its name first in the credits of the BGS Games. When applying for sprite artist please include a sprite sheet(s) you have made as an attachment to the e-mail. -BACKGROUND ARTIST- A BGS background artist must be able to design levels for the BGS games. A level design consists off 1) The background image 2) The ground the character runs on 3) An objects in the level (trees, rocks, bushes, lava, icicles, ect) When applying for background artist please include an image and/or sheet showing an example of your work as an attachment to the e-mail -GRAPHIC ARTIST- A BGS graphic artist does other art duties not covered by sprite artist and background artist. This includes but is not limited to the following - Game Menu graphics - Site Graphics - Character Art Being able to draw is a MUST. When applying for graphic artist include any graphics you have created that you believe are relavant as an attachment to the e-mail. -3D ANIMATOR AND/OR 3D MODELER- BGS now uses the software known as BLENDER to create 3D art and scenes -When applying for 3D Animator you MUST have Blender and have experience using it The BGS 3D animator must be able to - Create 3D Character Models - Create 3D Scenery - Create other objects in the 3D environment - Animate the 3D objects When applying for 3D Animator include the following in your e-mail as attachments - a .blend file as an example - a screenshot of the model -Voice Actor- A BGS Voice actor will be voicing the characters in the BGS games To apply for voice actor you must have the following - A microphone - Skype Voice Messenger (http://www.skype.com/) or Xfire messenger (http://www.xfire.com) - Be able to speak English clearly When applying for Voice Actor include a small recording of yourself acting a Sonic Character's voice as an e-mail attachment, be sure to state which character it is. -MUSIC ARTSIT- A BGS Music Artist must be able to create their own tunes for the BGS A music artist DOES NOT simply pick out music from a list, a music artist creates music. Remixing is fine, provided there is no legal issue using the original work. When applying for music artist please include a short example work as an attachment to the e-mail.
